Professional staff nurse on a 30 bed unit serving acute and intermediate level oncology patients with a wide array of complex diagnoses. Served as charge nurse on night shift since July 2017. In this position I have worked diligently to build positive team dynamics, guide superior care, manage staffing, develop interprofessional communication, mentor and educate staff, and most importantly, provide positive experiences for patients and their families.

Champion for night shift staff and member of a hospital-wide, interprofessional nurse driven group which focuses on increasing staff knowledge surrounding glycemic control for OHSU patients. Work to date includes: updating education material, policy development, staff feedback, PSI reviews, and staff mentoring.

Provided full care on the Lymphoma and Multiple Myeloma Unit at the world’s largest Cancer Center. This summer externship provided education and training for new nurses and had a focus on oncology education, integrated care systems, professional development, and nurse leadership.

Full time manager of a busy international import store in Pike Market. Duties included: Ordering and processing of goods shipped internationally, direct customer sales, corporate sales,staff training, food preparation, advertising, public relations, and facility operations.

Worked as a Certified Expanded Functions Dental Assistant specializing in the production of dental prosthetic appliances and performed secretary duties for a large 100+ employee company.
